I'd hoped to communicate the opposite. I live every day knowing my relationship with him has been restored, and that it will be resumed when I, too, slip from this world to the next. Yes, the divorce recovery days were good days, thanks to you, John, Carmen, Bruce, Rusty. And, yes, I will check out your blog. I am, as always, your friend and admirer and miss very much listening to what's in your heart and mind. Kisses to you and Kim! I'm anxious to hear about it in real live words so I can fire all the questions that come to mind. Main one: Did you get to talk to the fellow who Had believed you? (Closed the blog already and don't remember the name.)

Maybe a walk tomorrow morning?? I'd for...I was very touched by your story on Bruce. I'd forgotten my suggestion. He had a great effect on me, too. His was a kinder, gentler Christianity.

I didn't know he died. I'm glad you've found peace with him. And you triumphed in the end. Bruce was a foretaste of healing but not the vehicle for healing itself. He was John the Baptist without the ability to guide you to recovery or to protect you from what he didn't understand.

It is still a fairly unique experience to encounter the psychotic personality. It is so deceptive. We resist the idea someone can be without conscience, that they take pleasure in others' pain. But I experienced it once in Washington, and I will never forget it, nor will I ever be completely free of its damage. It isn't everywhere, but once you've identified it, you know it again when you see it. Many don't.

It's hard to forgive male thickheadedness and their blind tendency to believe their own, but men live with more limited understanding than women. We have to realize that, while not letting them off the hook. It is up to us to push them to greater evolution as beings. Their hold on power is an illusion; women really run the show.

Were Bruce to have lived and encountered this situation today, things likely would have been different. He likely would have had more experience with psychological profiles and been freer of the maleness of the church. Meantime, you have found your power at last, and you are free, albeit with some scars. And you are helping other women find their strength as well. I think Bruce would happy with your progress. Your encounter showed he had already evolved.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
